In baptism, God adopts us as His sons and daughters and gives us the Holy Spirit to dwell in our hearts, uniting us with Jesus and our brothers and sisters in Him, the Church.
Baptisms take place inside the church every Sunday at 2 pm. Spanish and Bilingual baptisms are held on the first Sunday of the month. We look forward to sharing this blessing with you and your child! The following is information for baptizing children up to six years of age.
The first step to have your child baptized is to bring a legible copy of the child's County Birth Certificate to Baptism Info Night, every 2nd Thursday of the month in Cavanagh Hall from 7-8 pm. Live birth records will not be accepted in place of birth certificates. Please bring a copy of the official County-issued Birth Certificate.
At the Baptism Info Night, we will walk you through everything you need to know to register a child for baptism and answer any lingering questions. A parent or someone representing the parent is welcome to attend the Baptism Info Night. Children are welcome.
Please note that the Baptism Info Night is different from the Baptism Class, which is required of all parents and godparents, and takes place every first Thursday of the month at 7pm.
If you are a Godparent, please visit our Godparents page here. If you seek to attend a Baptism Class, please visit our Baptism Renewal Night page.
Children over 7 years of age will need to attend a Faith Formation program (such as First Communion or Confirmation) prior to receiving baptism.
