Our Baptism Preparation Classes, called Baptism Renewal Night, are held every second Thursday of the month in Cavanagh Hall at 7:00 PM. . 

• Each parent and godparent must attend a baptism preparation class at least one month before the anticipated month of baptism. If they choose to attend the class at another church, they must provide a certificate of completion with the child’s name and class completion date printed clearly on the certificate. Please refer to the registration instructions provided at Information Night for document submission requirements. All required documents, including baptism class certificates from other parishes, must be submitted together according to the registration process explained at Information Night.
• The Baptism Renewal Night class covers the ritual and spirituality of baptism, as well as practical questions concerning how to prepare for the baptism.
• The Archdiocese of Los Angeles is now also requiring the completion of the Online Infant Baptism Course for all parents and godparents. This class can be accessed online via the Archdiocese of Los Angeles website at lacatholics.org/baptism.
• If you are planning for a baptism in a particular month, please plan ahead and attend the Baptism Renewal Night class at least one month beforehand. For example, if you hope to schedule a baptism in September, you should attend the class in August.
• We welcome parents and godparents from other parishes who wish to attend our Baptism Renewal Night class. No registration is required to attend the class. A certificate of completion will be provided to submit to the parish where the baptism will take place.
• Baptism preparation classes are valid for one year. If you attended a class more than a year ago, we ask you kindly to attend again as a refresher.
