Anointing the Sick

The Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick gives strength and support and can be administered to anyone struggling with an illness.

Anointing of the sick is a sacrament that is offered to those undergoing serious illness or people who have grown weak under the burden of years.  In case of illness that is not life-threatening, this sacrament is a comfort and a source of healing spiritually, emotionally and sometimes, physically. Best of all, the Anointing of the Sick takes away all sin, which is especially helpful for those who are too ill to confess their sins.  In our parish, if you wish to be anointed, please call the Parish Office at (626) 332-3570 at any time and one of the priests on duty will arrange a convenient time to visit you in your home, nursing home or hospital.

Additionally, our church invites you to participate in the 8:15 a.m. Mass on the First Saturday of every Month.  The sacrament (anointing) will be celebrated immediately after Mass.
