STATIONS OF THE CROSS 2015
It is a very special spiritual tradition to celebrate the Stations of the Cross, also known as the Way of the Cross during Lent. Traditionally Wednesdays (because of Ash Wednesday) and Fridays (because of Good Friday) are “penitential days” and many people find it especially powerful to pray the Stations on a Wednesday &/or Friday. Many do so once a week during Lent, some daily.
FRIDAY STATIONS OF THE CROSS
On all Fridays of Lent the Stations of the Cross will be celebrated immediately after each daily Mass, after:
8:15am Mass + Stations led by the priest of the Mass
12:10pm Mass + Stations led by Deacon Ron
5:30pm Mass + Stations led by the Sacristans
On Good Friday, April 3, 2015 — there will be a special schedule, please refer to that schedule.

SPECIAL TEEN STATIONS
Friday, February 27th at 7:15pm
A special prayer of the Stations, celebrated by and for our teens & Youth Ministry, will be held in the church on Friday, Feb. 27th at 7:15pm. All are welcome.
WELCOME ANY TIME OF DAY OR YEAR
In addition to these public celebrations, any individual or family is welcome to walk and pray the Stations in our parish church at any time, provided there is no Mass at the time. You are welcome seven days a week and our church is open Mondays through Saturdays from 7:00am to 9:00pm; we close on Sundays at 7:00pm.
Pope St. John Paul II strongly encouraged us to walk and pray the Stations throughout the year. It provides a wonderful grace year round. Pope St. John Paul II added a 15th Station to be celebrated ONLY outside of Lent and Holy Week, that Station is the “Resurrection” and the altar is to be the symbol and site of this 15th Station; however once again, the 15th is not celebrated during Lent and Holy Week as each is a time of anticipation of the passion, death and resurrection.
